SELLING A VEHICLE

For Sellers we offer a huge customer base in a relaxed and friendly environment, with like minded people. As a Car Market we do not allow dealers, only travellers are permitted to sell. On entering the Car Market you will pay a one time fee. This allows you to stay and sell your vehicle for up to 3 days. This is more than enough time to sell your vehicle. You may come and go as you like and secure, undercover parking when available at no extra charge, during these three days. All prices are formed by you as the seller and the sale remains your responsibility. There are no hidden costs or commission to be paid upon sale of your vehicle. As a company we remain neutral, offering support for all of our customers and helping in any way we can to assist a sale.

As a seller you should ensure;
1. The vehicle you are selling should be registered in your name. Would you buy from a person who does not own the car?
2. Make sure that your vehicle has W.O.F and registration.
3. Make sure that your vehicle is clean and presented as you would expect it.
4. Repair any obvious problems on your car or be prepared to drop the price for the buyer.
5. Make sure that you accompany the buyer to the Backpackers Car Market office to change the ownership and ensure that your obligations towards the vehicle are ended immediately.
